James Brown is dead… and so Licorice was born to keep that funky soul music alive and keep people feelin’ good! Licorice is a 6-7 piece R&B, soul, funk, and pop band with an extensive repertoire ranging from the 60’s to contemporary.
Discovered by world famous John Stuart from Legend’s In Concert in Las Vegas, Cara Lee debuted with Legends In Concert at Bally’s in Atlantic City. Cara has since gone on wowing audiences in theaters all over the United States and worldwide including Canada, Mexico, Ireland, Australia, and Malaysia. In recent years Cara Lee has returned to her rock & roll roots with a Janis Joplin essence.
